So im thinking about going to rockstar energy drink mayhem festival and im wondering what bands are going to be there.
and what age do you think is appropriate to be in mosh pit?
This summer i’m going to a music festival and i’m taking my acoustic guitar… I’m trying to think of some good songs to learn.
I’m only grade 3 so nothing too hard. I want to learn some well know classic rock songs.
I know there is a good site with tons of documentaries and films about different cultures and stuff…but I can’t remember the name of the site. Find me a site where I can purchase the rights to show movies/documentaries at a film festival. Mainly looking for docs about cultures and genocide. I want a site I can shop around without having to sign up for anything really.
Depends on what your idea of a film festival is, nobody is going to want to show a film about genocide at our semi-small university…so we have to purchase rights to show some of the bigger documentaries about such things as Darfur and Israel.
I am planning to buy tickets for me and my friend to go to reading festival next year. I was wondering when they will start being sold and how cheap could i get them for? Also does anyone know about the line up for 2010?

I’m a Resident Adviser for my college, and my group is in charge of coming up with a slogan and logo for this HUGE fall festival we are organizing for early November. It will be outdoors and organized kind of like a carnival with games and booths for students to participate in.
The slogan and logo part is hard though, any ideas?
I’m going to Homebake in Sydney (yay!) at the beginning of december. I’ve never been to a music festival before. Even though it only goes for one day, it’s about 12 hours long and it’s going to be verrry hot (summer here in Oz). So my question is, if you have been to a music festival, what did you wear? I want to be comfortable, and I’m a bit worried about getting sun burnt. But we are planning on going clubbing afterwards so I’m having trouble finding an outfit that will suit both.
What kind of permits and money would I need to get a music festival rolling? Also, how do you book large musical acts?
I’m going to a music festival in a few days and I have no idea what to bring.

Could you give me a few examples of some compelling questions you would want to be answered if you could sit face to face with your favorite artist? I just want to get my own mind going so please let me know. There are no stupid questions.
